Port Potomac is one of the popular new Prince William County Communities designed and developed in the last few years in Woodbridge VA. Multiple builders including Ryan Homes, Drees Homes, NVR and Kettler Brothers have helped shape Port Potomac. The neighborhood has a mix of townhouses and detached homes with multiple floor plans.  

When you first enter the community you can't help but notice the large community center. The community center features a place for neighbors to gather and host special events. The center also has an indoor pool, exercise room, outdoor pool, tennis courts and a basketball court. There is also a dog park off of the main road at the back of the community.

The townhouses have two distinct styles clustered within one section of the Port Potomac community.  Front loading two car garage townhouses with an exterior staircase and townhouses with detached rear loading 2 car garage townhouses.  The townhouses with the detached garage provide for a direct entrance into a foyer in the front or into the recreation room in the rear.  With the front loading garages you will enter into the recreation room on the lower level from the garage or if you come in the front door you will be on the main level of the townhouse with the living room, dining room and kitchen.

As of October 31, 2011 there have been 14 townhouse sales for the year. The sales have ranged in price from $276,000 to $359,000.  There have been 5 short sales and 2 foreclosures to close as of October 31, 2011.  There are current 10 townhouses under contract and 2 active listings.  If you are interested in selling your townhouse in Port Potomac, it is important to meet with an agent familiar with the neighborhood to discuss the value of your home.  An "average" price for recent sales does not accurately reflect the value of your Port Potomac Home.

Port Potomac features easy access to the Rippon Landing VRE, I-95 and PRTC commuter lots. Nearby shopping includes the Potomac Mills Mall and the new Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center with Wegmans grocery store, Zoes Kitchen and Uncle Julio's. If you need to leave the community for a little extra R&R you can launch your boat at Leesylvania State Park or hike through Prince William Forest Park.
