It appears as though the carnival has finally come to town on the ActiveRain Real Estate Network. On Wednesday the post submissions started with a trickle, and I started thinking to myself, "this isn't going to be that bad". Boy was I wrong, Saturday hit and it seemed as though everytime I looked at my inbox there were two or three new submissions.
A few hours ago, I started reading posts and making a list of ones I thought were worthy of the weekly top ten. By the time I had finished reading I had narrowed the list down to about sixteen and then the hard choices began, particularly in choosing a winner. When you have such high quality blog posts, it's near impossible to pick one post as being better than all the others. So, I chose a post that stood out from the others in that fact it was entertaining and humorous, rather than simply serious in nature, and it also wasn't contibuting to my "Zillow blogging burnout".

An "open mike" post by Evan Kane Broker Gets MLS Grief For Listing $1 House For Sale over at the Sellsius Real Estate Blog provides and interesting description and thoughts on one brokers attempt to generate more attention for his listings.
On Toby Boyce's blog Sadie's Take on Delaware Ohio (Sadie is his one year old boxer), When is TMI ... Well TMI? discusses the fact that consumers are bombarded with tons of information, but often don't know how to process it.
Elizabeth Weintraub over at The Real Estate Tomato writes her top 10 list of What Sellers & Buyers Expect From a Real Estate Agent
John Novak on his Henderson Nevada Real Estate Blog writes Don't take it personally ... It is what it is to discusses that seller's agents can not control the market but can control the marketing, and they need to make this clear to sellers.
Blogging guru Mary McKnight over at RSS Pieces gives some great tips on how realtors can use blogging to help connect with the consumers and ultimately generate real leads and business in How to write a blog that generates leads
Bonus Zillow Post
When I had finally gotten the list of posts down to eleven, I noticed there were three posts about Zillow. I didn't want to have three posts on the same subject in the top ten, so I resorted to a good old fashion coin toss. If it is good enough for deciding elections and superbowl kickoffs it's good enough for me. Greg Swan of the BloodHound Blog came up just short with his great post 2006 is the Year of Zillow.
