Burying Saint Joseph Statue to Sell Your House

I have heard of people burying a St Joseph Statue before in hopes of selling their house quicker. Recently, I just had some customers sell there house in just about a month through me. They had a St Joseph Statue buried in the yard. Supposedly, you bury the statue upside down with his head facing the house, say a nice prayer and continue to pray daily. Although I have heard of it before, this was the first house that I was aware of that my customers had buried the statue. Also, I guess after the house is sold you are supposed to dig it up and place it in you new home in a place of honor. I can attest to this one!...What do you think?...Wayne
