McCullough Homes for Sale
Pineville North Carolina
Welcome to Pineville, the suburban township that has changed forever from the old railroad town and once home of James K Polk, to a perfect living example of modern day suburbia.
This south Mecklenburg County township boomed into what is likely the largest retail area in North Carolina, with nearly 8,000,000 square feet of shopping. However, thankfully all of this commercial space lies nearby I-485 and tucked nicely away behind to the west, lies a community still largely characterized by its small town charm.
The McCullough Neighborhood
When I think of Pineville these days, of course the shopping comes to mind, but then there is the McCullough Subdivision; a bright and shining new community development by one of Charlotte’s leading builders John Wieland Homes. A vibrant hometown feel in the heart of Pineville along with some just gorgeous home designs with 10-20 minute commutes to Uptown, the Airport, or for heavens sake Lake Wiley. Can you believe it?

The McCullough Lifestyle
Resort style living is what is attracting many new home buyers to McCullough. Built on a old golf course the previously used cart paths have been converted to miles of walking trails and they can be centrally accessed from the neighborhood’s own Founders Park. If you are looking for plenty of green space the 80 acres planned for the community will not disappoint.
Then there is the spacious planned Club House, Pool, Tennis Courts, Basketball Court, and Fitness Center to top off the neighborhood, but there is more, my favorite; No Yard Maintenance! Everything from mowing, edging, aeration, and periodic weed control, a resort lifestyle for sure. But lets not forget the pocket parks and picnic areas through out the community as well as the 3 neighborhood lakes.
Pineville’s McCullough Neighborhood‘s 1st phase of development contains approximately 300 home sites with several homes sold in 2010, with future expansions up to 800, currently priced between $200k – $400k+ with Town-Homes from the high $100′s to high $200′s. Townhomes include Private Fenced Courtyards and 2 Car Garages. Three different model homes await your visit and exploration of all the varied and unique architectural designs. Inside, you’ll find great features— 3rd floor bonus rooms, mud room entries, butler’s pantries and some basement lots are available.
Schools
Schools include Pineville Elementary, Quail Hollow Middle School, and South Mechlenburg High School.
