9 Comments on FIRST NATIONWIDE TEST OF THE EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM ~ Please share this National Information
We should all mark this on our calendars! What they really should do is pop it up on the net as well, since most of us are sitting in front of computers every day!
I had this test yesterday visit me while I was watching TV....The only thought I had was if I lose power, the TV message doesn't mean much....No worries, I am hands on when it comes to life
Wow! A nationwide test. Makes you wonder what they are expecting.... I agree with Paul that the net would really be a place to display the info.
Robert ~ I agree, mark your calenders & spread the news. That's an excellent idea!
Richie ~ The November 9th test is national, if you lose power you should have a battery powered radio in your emergency kit.
Gayle ~ I think that there are more than a few folks are upset, sickened about the federal response to Katrina. Correcting those issues has remained on the top of FEMA's to do list as well it should. This national test is a step in the right direction.
Thanks for posting this - ill pass this along to my associates and clients... Thanks
Michele ~ Thanks! It's important people know it is a test. : )
Thanks for posting. Good info. Mark
Mark ~ Sure. Thanks for stopping by!
I heard that all the Cell Companies were asked to send text messages to everyone.. but the system coul not handle that much traffic in a short burst/
