Get Pre-Approved !!

Before you buy a home get pre-approved for your loan. Not only will it save you time it allows your offer to get top priority over others that aren't approved. Take my advice as a former mortgage lender get your ducks in a row so you can make the most of your search. If you need a referral to a lender I would recommend Mark Cortez at National City Mortgage in Champaign, 217-363-4180!

I could not agree more Aaron. In fact, I would say that a true real estate professional would insist on getting a pre-approval before the hands on searching even begins. I know that I do this with all my clients. It just does not make sense to start shopping with unrealistically high expectations only to have them dashed when you go for approval.
