White Chrysanthemums in Maryland

Autumn is a time to enjoy beautiful flowers in Maryland.  Chrysanthemums are among our favorites. The kinds of Chrysanthemums that most of of us have in our gardens are not what you will see when you attend the shows conducted by the outstanding gardeners in the region.  These pictures are a couple of examples from the recent show at Brookside Gardens. Life is good in Maryland and we are very thankful that we have such beautiful blooms to enjoy.

Please share your favorite photographs in the comments for this post.

We attended the 51st Annual Potomac Chrysanthemum Show at Brookside Gardens on October 22, 2011.  Photograph by Roy Kelley using a Canon PowerShot G11 camera.

Thanks for sharing!

Roy- you are right, the Chrysanthemums you show are definitely not what we see in our gardens.  These are breathtaking.
