Bring bedding and toiletries; medications and personal items.
Ice will be available for medications.
Remember to bring house keys when going to shelters; garage doors may not work.
Shut off city water before leaving the house.
No alcohol allowed on premise.
Meals Ready to Eat (MRE)
Meals Ready to Eat are available at the Academy Building cafeteria from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Charging Stations
*Glastonbury High School, 330 Hubbard Street; 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. For those with special needs, this facility may also be used to charge wheelchairs.
Academy Building, 2149 Main Street from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Enter through Door A.
Potable Water
Residents may obtain potable water at three Glastonbury Fire Stations. Residents must provide their own containers. Fire Station locations are as follows:
Fire Station # 1, 2825 Main Street
Fire Station #3, Hopewell Road
Fire Station #4, 1247 Manchester Road
Tree Debris Disposal
The Town’s Bulky Waste Facility located at 1145 Tryon Street, will be open extended hours from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until Saturday, November 5and on Sunday, November 6 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Disposal fees will be waived during this period.
Additional brush disposal locations will be available through November 15 as follows:
o Riverfront Park, 200 Welles Street (rear gravel parking lot)
o Rotary Field, Olde Stage Road
o Former Arbor Acres Facility, 429 Marlborough Road
*These hours are while school is not in session. Once schools re-open this facility will be available 6 to7 a.m. and 2:30 to 10 p.m.

Academy Building Cafeteria, 2143 Main Street from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Time will be limited to 20 minutes per session when others are waiting.
Panera, McDonalds, Starbucks on Glastonbury Boulevard all have Wi-Fi available
ADDITIONAL NOTICES TO RESIDENTS
The Town Hall facility and Welles Turner Library are open.
Please be advised that the Riverfront Community Center is closed due to power outages and staff is working out of other locations. For those who may have scheduled appointments with Social Services, the appointments will be held at the Youth & Family Services building at 321 Hubbard St. However, Youth and Family Services is still closed for normal business at this time.
