Central Park, New York
If I'm quiet it's because I'm enroute to TX...
On the road again... a fave thing to do. Had to sit shiva with my Jewish friends. "Shiva (Hebrew: שבעה) (literally "seven") is the week-long mourning period in Judaism for first-degree relatives: father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, and spouse. The ritual is referred to as "sitting shiva." Immediately after burial, first-degree relatives assume the halakhic status of "avel" (Hebrew: אבל ; "mourner"). This state lasts for seven days, during which family members traditionally gather in one home (preferably the home of the deceased) and receive visitors. At the funeral, mourners traditionally rend an outer garment, a ritual known as keriah. This garment is worn throughout shiva." Wikipedia
Also had to put the car in the shop which left me grounded without wheels for three days (sigh). Needless to say my schedule was shot to Hell in a hand-basket. I'm making up for lost time and missed a couple of events because of it. I shall be a wee bit late landing in Dallas but I will let you guys know when I drive in. I'll post some eye candy along the way because I like invading states and disrupting peoples' days with mischief (LOL).
