Math Joke - Great start for your week!

Math

I remember how much I hated math word problems when I was in school.  Much like this joke, I use to argue with the problem more than just solve the darn thing!  I would over analyze and restructure the sentence to the point that it was just silly.  Now I'm able to just see them for what they are but I love this joke because the scenarios of word problems usually are pretty funny.

I hope the problems you face this week are easily solved and the ball keeps rolling forward!

Good morning Laura. Super cartoon and great connection to your childhood dilemma. I too can over complicate stuff even now, so I try and keep the focus and get on with it.

That is pretty funny. I liked math and did well with it as a kid, but now my kids give me their homework to look at and I am lost.

Hi Laura,  Don't you just love the STORY PROBLEMS in math.  Someone had quite an imagination with some of those in school.  They always seemed to involve trains.....
