Cook County has developed the Mortgage Foreclosure Surplus website for homeowners duecook county foreclosure,foreclosure surplus, money from lenders that foreclosed on their home. Homeowners would be due money back from the bank if their home's selling price exceeded their loan balance. Approximately $16 million is currently being held for homeowners by the Cook County Clerk.

All you need to do is search your name quickly and see if they are holding any money due to be returned to you.

Chuck:  Hopefully AZ is not as incompetant as Cook County IL. Think of all the poor people that don't realize they have money coming after getting foreclosed on? I think it's terrible they don't understand what happened.

Devona:  2nd largest county in the U.S. so there are many people possibly involved here. Notice the banks never thought about finding the people to return their money?
