Sunday (November 6), why not participate in the Help the Homeless Mini-Walk at Sligo-Dennis Community Park? The park is located at 10220 Sligo Creek Parkway in Silver Spring. It's a great opportunity to help the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (MCCH). You'll be helping to raise critical funds and to educate the community on homelessnesss. You're sure to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon, enjoying music, activities, face painting, and more. The cost is $30 for adults over the age of 25, and $20 for ages 25 and younger. Community Living, Inc. was founded in 1979 in Frederick, Maryland, as a not-for-profit agency providing residential and support services for people with developmental disabilities in Frederick County. Each of the Community Living artists has their own style, and even when challenged to paint a series of subjects, it is easy to tell which artist did what.
