5 Comments on Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder, Except When You Are Selling Your Home
So very true Rosalie,
If we could only find a way to get our sellers to separate themselves from all their personal "treasures."
Hi Rosalie, May I add one more to the list? Remove all the small appliances off the kitchen counter to show how much counter space there is.
Rosalie - Exactly - Thin out, de-clutter, clean shop, yard sale, shift gears, prune, store, pack-up half, remove pics - Oh, yes, and don't forget the garage. Sorry I just got carried away. In the end Sellers will benefit monetarily and also time wise with a quicker sale.
Paul- It is hard from some people to seperate fro their things for sure! It just has to be emphasized that it is only a temporary thing until the house is sold and then everything can go back to normal!
Malinda- You are preaching to the choir on that one! I hate stuff on kitchen counters!
Kathy- Your right about the garage! Alot of sellers think well if I stick it all out in the garage that will be good enough....UNTIL the husband comes and sees a garage full of boxes! Even though the garage is big it will look smaller because of those boxes and then you lost a potential sale! Things to think about for sure!
