Most of you are aware of the bill that is on the table right now to make Broker YSP illegal. This would severely affect all mortgage professionals. This bill is attempting to infringe on our right to earn a living by setting a precedence as to how much we can charge or how much money we can earn.

The next thing could be a bill to restrict realtor's fees, title companies and on and on. There is no reason that we all have to pay for the mistakes of a few from the past. So long as we abide by RESPA and HOEPA Guidelines and we all disclose our fees farily and honestly, we don't need "big brother" telling us we can't make a fair living!

Out of control I tell you....I don't think that the bill will pass....just MORE disclosures when submitting a loan!
