Patricia is back!

Many of have missed the constant presence and inspiring posts from our friend in Flower Mound, Texas. Patricia is back with a wonderful message in celebration of her ActiveRain connection. Good reading and very timely in this season of thanksgiving.

Have a great Sunday and an outstanding week.  Be sure to have your camera in hand to capture those special moments.

There is a stream of Light shining in the Rain. I am thankful for the connections I have made here on ActiveRain. Today, I celebrate the AR Connections that have made a difference in my life. Although we are all busy with activities and functions of everyday life, there is an abundance of people who are consistently passing on kindness to everyone who subscribes to ActiveRain. Thanks to everyone who has reached out to me, to find out if I was okay. Yes! I am okay… challenged, tired, but definitely okay.

I wanted to say thank you for connecting with me in the Rain. You are making the world a better place – you know who you are. You are the people who bless, inspire and uplift others – you care when you notice someone isn’t there. When we receive a kindness from another person, the best way to repay it is to pass it on to another. Kindness that grows inside us is the seed; happiness shared with another is the flower that brings joy. I have noticed that there are some pretty amazing people out there and even when something else takes precedence, we are still connecting with people who really care. Whether it's a phone call, or that kind of encouraging contact note that comes from colleagues in the Rain showing their support, it's the gesture and the kindness that makes a difference.

Today I celebrate the AR Connection. Together, we all grow stronger, more resilient to change, and become heartier when life adjustments occur expectedly or unexpectedly. If we take care of each other, more people will grow because like the seeds that blow in the wind, we carry that positive energy, that inexhaustible energy that pours forth from the center of our being!

Spread the seeds of kindness to all, happiness is in high demand. Just as there is a need to stamp out weeds in a garden, there is an even greater need to reach out to others. A good example of how we can all make the world a better place comes from John Wesley, founder of Methodism and the man who transformed British religious and social society in the 18th century. Although I do not subscribe to this religion, I do believe his philosophy about life is worth putting into action:

Do all the good you can

By all the means you can,

In all the ways you can,

In all the places you can,

At all the times you can,

To all the people you can,

As long as ever you can.
