Hurlock, MD was incorporated in 1892. Hurlock, Md is known for it's awesome railroad facilities and below I have posted an old railroad waiting station and two old passenger cars that they still use today. Since Hurlock had great railroad facilities it was known as the industrial and commercial hub of Dorchestor County, MD. Since they became this there town's motto is "On track.....since 1892".
Hurlock, MD has many churches which serves a variety of denominations and also has a freee library. The Hurlock Free Library is the oldest on the Eastern Shore and second oldest in the state of Maryland.
