We know that life can be complicated and full of challenges every day, which is why the thought of foreclosure can often times be overwhelming and devastating. Some assistance programs specifically designed to avoid foreclosure are often overlooked by homeowners thus defeating their main purpose, to help.

Well.. great news is on the way! The Arizona Department of Housing has launched a program called "Save Our Home AZ", which offers troubled AZ homeowners assistance with two foreclosure prevention programs. 


1. Unemployed Payment Assistance program: This program provides temporary payment assistance up to 24 months while the homeowner seeks unemployment.

2. Principal Reduction program: This program provides a loan modification utilizing principal reduction of up to $50,000 with matching contribution from participating lender to reduce the mortgage payment to 31% of the homeowners monthly income.

Participants must meet certain requirements, including eligible hardship, property type, loan balance, income level, and other conditions.

According to www.savemyhomeaz.gov Save Our Home AZ has been created to assist responsible homeowners to avoid foreclosure on their homes in the state of AZ. In this website you will also be able to do a self assessment and make an application.

Welcome to Activerain, 

As someone else who is newer to the rain, here have been the two places I have spent most of my time learning from those before me. The first isActiverain University and the second is the Activerain Newbies group on Activerain. I think I learn more in those two spots on blogging and business building than I could anywhere else.
