December’s Season of Celebrations & Sharing Contest is a time to not only get out local information on what is going on in your communities but also share on how you and others are sharing with those less fortunate. There are so many possibilities for blog posts during December that I do not think it is too much to ask for 6 blog posts during the month. The posts should all be localism posts, announcing events that are going on for and in your communities. Please remember that these events need to be related to the Season of Celebrations & Sharing, NOT general listing posts, open house posts or other general localism posts. If the December Season of Celebrations is not involved in some way, you will NOT get your points for participating.
It is important to not only announce what is going on but also to mention how these events are enriching the lives of others………….it can be something as simple as how you are taking a plant or wreath to all of your previous clients, to let them know you remember and appreciate them. Don’t forget to write about things that others are doing as well………..from collecting Toys for Tots, organizations that get gifts to local hospitals and shelters…………there is so much going on in EVERY community that this should be easy to accomplish.
Remember to do the following once you have written all of your blog posts:
First of all, title your posts with December’s Season of Celebrations & Sharing Contest – then add your own title extension (LEAVE OUT THE WORD 'CONTEST' IF IT BOTHERS YOU TO HAVE IT IN THE TITLE).
Second, post your blog post in the new group December’s Season of Celebrations & Sharing Contest.
Third, be sure to post ALL 6 of your blog post links TOGETHER in a single comment to this post, so I can verify that you did them all without having to scroll up and down to count your posts. If you forget to put all 6 links here in a single comment you will not receive your points.
Fourth, each post MUST have a photo with it (or a short video) – people always prefer posts with photos or videos.
Deadline to complete everything will be 12 midnight Seattle Washington time, December 26th. This contest begins on December 1, so that gives you plenty of time to write 6 posts!
You will be awarded 3000 points for completing this contest! That should be a great Holiday Gift for you! :-)
