Now to Create Yes-Yes Photos for Agents

First, I admit this is just an attempt to meet more agents, make a positive impression, and to help them a bit -- so when they need a virtual tour, they'll think of me.

I am going to offer a business portrait service - 100% guarantee satisfaction -- for those agents that want an updated photo for their cards, brochures, flyers, web site, etc.

I have arrangements to do this at two local malls (and will be doing so later this month). I am going to offer:

No sitting fees
An 8x10
Image on a CD
No copyright restriction (unlimited use/reproduction)

Of course, it will be done with professional studio lighting and backdrops. Is there anything I am missing? What else would an agent need from a pro photographer for their business portraits?

George - you might want to consider updating you AR pic

its too dark and the background is distracting

I intend to do just that... I am like the cobbler's kids -- last ones to get new shoes ... I take so many photos, but I am the last one to get my picture taken.

Do you know anyone that sells cosmetics that could come and help in that area. Maybe someone from the Clinique counter if there is a Macy's in the mall?

Have you shot portraits before? Sounds like a proactive way to meet agents. What camera will you use?

Yes, I have done many portraits ... I am also a former newspaper photographer. I am totally digital - I use Nikon D200's.

George, my team and I would definitely be interested in this. Would you be willing to do a team? There are 5 of us -- and we've been planning on taking new photos (together and individually) in the very near future.

Of course I could photograph your team -- as well as the individuals - whatever you'd want/need. I will be doing a business portrait day at Park City in Lancaster within the next couple of weeks (the day hasn't been scheduled yet - I can let you know when it is). Or we can set something else up when it suits your schedule.

George, if you end up scheduling the day for some time this month, that would be ideal. We're in the process of having a new logo made up, and would love to have new photos to add to it. We're always up for meeting new people, learning about tools that can help our business, and expanding our sphere as well - so it would help all of us! If you have any examples of your Panoriders to bring along, that might be nice to see in person.
