Let’s Welcome Three More Newbies to our Community
In case you missed seeing our Contest for Newbies, you still have time to enter as a seasoned blogger and a new member for our Newbie Challenge this month. For more information see New Contest for Recognizing and Introducing Newbies in Active Rain.

The contest will run until November 30, 2011 at midnight Eastern Standard Time. I see seem some great entries, and I know there will be many more to read. I have enjoyed reading all the entries so far, and all of them have been loaded with some great tips, and should be a bookmark for all Newbies, and even some seasoned bloggers too.

Let’s Welcome Cynthia Williams!
Cynthia is a real estate professional from Boston, MA. She has a passion for real estate and truly believes in putting her clients first. She specializes with Short Sales and REOs, and loves working with First Time Home Buyers. I selected Cynthia because she didn’t waste any time becoming a Rainmaker. She has been a member since October, 2011, and she has only written 4 posts, but I love that fact that she just jumped right in there and started to blog. Janis is from Hudson, New York, and she works with New Home Constructions for Key Properties of Hudson Valley. She believes in being informed on all the aspects of the market and having a good understanding of what the competition is doing is specific area. I also loved the fact that she decided to be a Rainmaker too, and she brings a lot of enthusiasm into the real estate industry. She has written a couple of posts, and plans to participate in the Newbie Challenge to write 10 posts this month. See her last post for New Construction Homes For Sale in Orange County, New York.

Let’s Welcome Seana Yates!
Seana is a professional real estate agent from Los Angeles, CA. She works with luxury homes and First Time Home buyers too. What caught my attention about Seana was her profile page. She joined Active Rain in June, 2011, and has less than 10 blogs, but her Profile page and her Blog signature block looks better than mine.  She is also a Rainmaker, and that was a Big Plus in my book. Check out her latest post at Top Ten Reasons to Live in San Fernando Valley. She is also off to a great start in our Newbie Challenge this month. Another Rising Star in the Making.

Now my tips for all Newbies would be to decide early on what you want to blog about. Make a list of all the topics that you feel will be of interest to share with your audience. Do your research and develop your own personal writing style. Take all those classes at the AR University site. Comment on 20 to 30 posts per day, and more if you have the time. Join as many groups as you can find, and post to those Groups on a regular basis. Then take a look at one of my older posts, How to Get Started Blogging For Newbies.
