Daniel Colella opened Colella’s Supermarket in Hopkinton, MA in 1945.  Currently, seven members of the Colella family are on staff at the supermarket.  Pictures in the supermarket chronicle the changing storefront, but Colella’s always offers what their customers want.  Colella’s offers a variety of groceries, deli items, baked goods, meats, produce and a nice selection of beer, wine and liquor.  Colellas prides itself on offering customers a more enjoyable experience than large grocery stores, and they don’t compromise on price or variety.

In addition to Boars Head deli meats, cheeses and salads, Colellas offers made-to-order sandwiches on a daily basis.  Customers are welcome to eat at the in-store café area, or take their selection with them.  Customers can also enjoy a cup of freshly brewed Red Barn coffee.

Fresh products such as rotisserie chicken, ham ribs, side salads and rolls are offered daily.  The bakery offers a delicious variety of made-from-scratch, mouth-watering goods.  The produce department features vegetables and fruits grown by local farmers.

Unique to Colella’s Supermarket, an ongoing tradition for 67 years, a bagger is always available to help put groceries in your car and return your shopping cart to the store.

Colella’s Supermarket is located at 61 Main Street in Hopkinton at the corner of Routes 135 and 85.  They are open Monday through Friday from 7AM to 9PM, Saturday from 8AM to 9PM, and Sunday from 8:30AM – 6PM.  For more information, please go to www.colellas.com.
