We salute our veterans with great respect and honor for their sacrifice to fight for our freedom and protect our country. The following restaurants show their appreciation to all the veterans by offering free food.

Remember to bring your proof of service, which may include any of the following:

1. US Uniform Services Identification Card

2. US Uniform Services Retired Identification Card

3. Current leave and earnings statement (LES)

4. Veteran Organization Card i.e. American Legion, VFW

5. Photograph in uniform or wearing uniform

6. DD214, Citation or Commendation.

Will & Maggie, these restaurant's owners are smart, offer free food to the veterans and make money from the veteran's families or friends who come together for the meals.

Kwee - thank you for sharing this. Our daughter is in the Navy and I am always touched by both the restaurants and the patrons who will pick up the tab for a service member dining in uniform. She has called us many times to tell us someone in a restaurant picked up her dinner. Thank you to those of you who have ever done something like that. Whether we agree with what's going on inthe country or not, these people are keeping us safe!
