Improve Fan Interaction with These Facebook Apps

As a real estate agent, it is a part of your job description to get to know and interact with members of your community. While it’s easy to attend a community event and strike up a conversation and possibly gain a new client, when it comes to using social media, accomplishing this is easier said than done.

When you scroll through your Facebook page, it seems like you have been doing everything right. You post interesting articles relevant to your community and real estate, you ask questions to engage with your fans, and you comment on other member’s pages and posts. All of this stuff is great, and it’s right on target to strengthening your online presence. But as your real estate virtual assistants, we want to provide you with the tools you need to go above and beyond expectations and stay ahead of the curve. 

If you want to make your Facebook page stand out amongst the crowd, there are four helpful apps to help you accomplish just that.

1. Tweets to Pages: This application will create a tab on your Facebook page that will display a timeline of all of your tweets. This application is a great way for your fans to stay connected as they will not have to be logged onto their Twitter stream to see your tweets.  It will also benefit fans that don’t have Twitter accounts.

2. ContactMe: This application adds a tab to your Facebook page with a contact form. In this day and age, it’s no secret that many prefer emailing over picking up the phone, and this application will allow fans to easily contact you at any time. This app also comes with options to add your social media icons for other platforms such as Twitter, Google+, Skype and more. You can also sign up to receive alerts via text message whenever someone fills out the form, so you can respond ASAP even if you’re not at your computer.  

3. RSS Graffiti: This application allows you to automatically post updates to your wall anytime a new item appears in one of your feeds. For example: If you post a blog to your company’s website every Thursday, RSS Graffiti will automatically post a few sentences of the blog to your Facebook wall, with a direct link to access the blog.  With this application, you no longer need to remember to manually go into your Facebook every Thursday when you write a new blog. RSS Graffiti will do it for you, saving you time and headache.
