Something is terribly wrong in this world when a football program and it's supposed leaders of a well recognized and respected program come before children who are raped. Penn State and their leaders, including Joe Paterno, should be ashamed of themselves for not doing something about Jerry Sandusky's constant molestation of little boys on campus.
How could you idly stand by and do nothing? How could you protect this vile, sick excuse for a human being? How could you walk by a shower, watch a boy being raped, and simply walk by? You are all guilty for these senseless, disgusting acts against humanity and deserve jail time at the very least for your actions, or inaction in this case. What if it was your son or grandson, Joe? Would you have called the police then?
The more I read and hear about this breaking story the more repulsed I am. What confounds me even further is the fact that it took so many years to come to the forefront! Whatever happened to the moral compass of these people? Is football so grand an institution that you are willing to sell your soul to the devil with your very own children that you are supposed to be protecting? Shame on Penn State and all those at the top who knew and did nothing. I hope that all heads roll. This is the beginning of the end of Penn State and its football program.
I realize that this has nothing to do with real estate, but it is certainly something worth discussing because I want to know how others feel about this and what they would do if they were in those same shoes. Read the below article by Howard Bryant of ESPN. It is a real eye opener.
