Nancy had some insightful commentary about why the newspaper is so popular with golfers and golf enthusiasts. Her contagious passion for golf was evident as she discussed the variety of golf courses she's played and what Arizona has to offer....from the Mountains to the Desert and everything in between. Phil Mickelson was on November's cover with a feature article on the "new" McDowell Mountain Golf Club (formerly Sanctuary Golf Course). She was able to give us some much needed Golf Property Listing and Sales information which may shock some of the REALTORS® out there, as well as, potential Golf Property Buyers. Did you know that most homes for sale in Golf Communities are NOT distressed? The market is shifting, listings are down, and according to Tina, we'll start to see prices tick up every month...inch by inch, dollar by dollar. She follows historical and current trends and was able to point out some interesting data from 2005 and how it may apply today. She is quick to tell buyers not to wait if they're interested in purchasing residential property, especially if it's in a golf community. Jane & Al even had a quick visit from Kathy Knadler, LPGA/USGA Girls Golf of Phoenix Director. She promoted the 10th Annual 100 Hole Golf Marathon Fund Raiser for JGAA which is coming up on Dec. 3 (http://www.jgaa100.org) ...at Bear Creek Golf Complex in Chandler, AZ.
