If ActiveRain Existed in the 1950's,

It Might Have Looked a Bit Like This...

A few days ago the good folks at ActiveRain posted a blog entitled, "I Am ActiveRain". You can click on the link to see the original post, but the premise was simple:

Post a picture on their Facebook page showing what "unique trait" you bring to the Rain and you get 500 points.

Well since there were no rules or restrictions (my kind of fun!) I got to thinking...

Then I got to Photoshopping...

And, being a big fan of "retro" era things, I came up with this..

If ActiveRain Existed in the 1950's,

It Might Have Looked a Bit Like This...

Good evening, Craigster. I really dig the doo's on the gals. Now that took some time. You must have had a lot of time on your hands...

John - Ha! Ha! Ha! Never read my blog when your wife is walking by again my friend. I do NOT want to be held responsible!

Sue - Thank you Sue. Generating a smile with this post was my sole mission.

Wanda - I thought the mascot was a nice touch! And to think that it wouldn't have happened if my good friend Larry hadn't volunteered!

Juli -I don't know where these things come from. Take a peek into my brain and let me know if you see anything that can explain it...

Kathy - I've had two words thrown in my direction lots lately! But they weren't the two you used! So, for that, I thank you!

Shar - Even I laughed at Larry the Raindrop! And I'm my own worst critic!

Donna - Thank you Donna! I did try to capture the essence of the Rain in the 50's!

Valerie - See my response to Juli in comment #21 just above!

Michael - You know me my friend. I do this stuff with half my brain tied behind my back! This one took me all of 15 minutes and I did it while waiting for a pot of coffee to brew!

You didn't put your handsome mug in the shot Craig. I think you would have made a fine mascot.

James - You know I would have put my face in there James. But my buddy Larry insisted!

Bob - I'm hearing some smack down trash talk coming from you Bob. I wonder what Niki has to say about that!

Sharon - That is definitely one "statement" costume isn't it?!!!

Michelle - There's medication for that scratching thing you have going on Michelle!

Kerrie -Yeah, I've been meaning to talk to you about your wardrobe choices lately, Kerrie!

Tatyana - Wicked was not the first thing that came to mind about that witch costume Tatyana!

I really like the AR letter sweaters.  You thought of everything.  This should be placed on their AR page group photo.

I do not recognize all of the people in the pyramid. Maybe because I wasn't around until the 60s.
