Motivational Power Quote
A Word Once Spoken . . . .
“It is as easy to draw back a stone thrown
with the force from the hand,
as to recall a word once spoken.”
Menander, Greek, playwright 342-291 B.C.
As I see it . . . . . . .
A word once spoken . . . .
A word once spoken travels at the speed of light and once spoken cannot be recalled.
Your word can be spoken softly or you can shout it. Whatever you say spreads with the force of a hurricane and the meaning of those words fall intensely on the people that they are spoken to.
Your words pass through your lips in a micro second and can live on for a life time and impact people for generations.
John F. Kennedy words spoken at his inauguration address in 1961 is alive and well 50 years later. As he said on that on that cold January day “Ask not of what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”
Those words have inspired generations of Americans.
Think before you speak, have a purpose in your words and your words will bring a positive impact to the lives of the people that your speaking too and too your life.
Like John F. Kennedy words your word once spoken becomes permanently attached to you. Make that word one that you would be proud to put your signature on.
