11-11-11 Honor Our Veterans -- Selected Pasadena CA Area Events
11-11-11 -- there's been many stories about this unique date but it's really a lot more than fun facts and sales at stores or a three day weekend. Let's take a moment(or more) to honor our United States veterans who have and continue to provide a source of pride and in too many cases the ultimate act of service to all of us.

11-11-11 at 10:30AM Viet Nam Veterans will present a tribute at the Viet Nam memorial at Memorial Park at Holly Street and the Gold Line Memorial Park Station
11-11-11 at 11:30AM Veteran's Day Barbeque at the Senior Center at 85 E Holly Street adjacent to the Gold Line Memorial Park Station
11-11-11 at 11AM the Annual Veteran's Day commemoration at the Armed Services Memorial in front of Monrovia Public Library in Library Park
11-11-11 at 11AM Veteran's Day Event at Veteran's Memorial Wall, 500 North Palm in Alhambra. There will be refreshments served after the ceremony at American Legion Post 139, 24 North Stoneman.
11-12-11 at 11AM Memorial Wall at Sierra Madre Memorial Park, 222 West Sierra Madre Boulevard
Whether you are in the Pasadena CA area or elsewhere, I urge you to thank a veteran(or current member) for their service or honor them in a way you see fit -- we shall not forget.
