TOUR THE WOODLANDS ~ VILLAGE OF STERLING RIDGE
The Woodlands, Texas is a huge and wonderful master planned community made up of many sections that we call Villages and town centers. This is a continuation of my series "Tour The Woodlands" as we visit the different Villages and centers that make up this unique place. Each Village is its own neighborhood with its own personality.
The Village of Sterling Ridge is near and dear to my heart as this is the section that I currently live in. I have lived in Alden Bridge and Cochran's Crossing as well. Sterling Ridge is located in the western quadrant of The Woodlands. The village is the home of the gorgeous Gary Player Golf Course that is a part of The Woodlands Country Club.
The Village was officially incorporated in 2005 and has been thriving ever since. A variety of new home prices from the low 100's for a townhome all the way to over a million+ for the estate and golf course homes. The construction is almost complete in this village but there are still some lots in the Kirkpatrick Glen area as well as estate lots in Gary Glen.
The Sterling Ridge Shopping Center is located right along Woodlands Parkway and is anchored by a Signature Kroger store. Perry's is located in this center which is a favorite steak restaurant for many. There are many boutiques and other shops located in this center offering something for everyone.
Sterling Ridge has some of the top Conroe ISD schools including the award-winning elementary school Deretchin. The Woodlands 9th grade campus is located in this village along with many others. The newest library and the YMCA has a wonderful facility here as well.
Parks abound scattered throughout the village. Just as in all of the other parts of The Woodlands, the parks and the trail system offer residents a quite respite from their hectic lives. Making time to play is a big part of our community.
I know The Woodlands well and would love to introduce you to what we have to offer here. I am your Woodlands Real Estate Expert so give me a call today!
