Agents the can't use a camera (part 2)

By
Real Estate Agent with Realtor

In my previous picture blog, there were some amazing pictures that agents in my area take.  I enjoyed posting about it so much I just had to bring on some more.  However, I'm not sure anything can top my dog poop pic.

The following are actual photos taken right out of my MLS system and put here for your enjoyment.

I really think my camera case gives this kitchen that extra edge we need.

And this is little Johny's old room.  He went on to become a part of Blue Man Group.

Wait until your client sees this BUSH!

What is it with Realtors and doorways??

No no...why do I need to buy a new camera?....I have one!

The deck is beautiful.  We just don't have any stairs yet so the ladder comes with the house!

This picture really isn't too bad (coughcough).......but this home sits on over 5 acres of land.

There's NO PICTURE of the land at all but they have this shot in there?  I don't get it!

This bed comes with leopard skin as well!

Damn.....this darn house got in the way of my picture of the sun!

And I'm just speechless about this last picture.

there certainly are a lot out there  and these pictures are a testimonial to bad "picture taking".  I especially love the deck and ladder ;)

Picture taking is an art. Some folks have it some don't. I know lots of agents that hire professional photographers for the better properties. Your pictorial is a testimony to hiring a pro or learning a few tips on picture taking!

They say that a picture is worth a 1000 words... and the wrong picture could make you lose $1000.00's of dollars...

And I used to complain about the listings that have only a photo of the exterior.

These were good. We actually had one in our MLS that was a picture of a Bird of Paradise plant...as the Main Photo! Since the house was priced in the $300K's, that was one mighty expensive plant! It makes you wonder what goes through their minds. Thanks for these.

I'm not a Realtor, but I've now seen your pictures as well as some others that really do make you wonder. My mom is trying to sell you home, and the Realtor almost took pictures of my mom's house with a sheet over the sofa (not for looks, but to protect the sofa), and other no-no's. It's not like my mom's house is a mess, but you want quality pic's to showcase your home, not give a dumpy impression. First impressions ARE very important! She had to tell the Realtor to wait and let her strainghten up a little prior to continuing. You would think that is something the Realtor should know better than my mom!!

Hey, at least they are putting photos... lol... We ahve the ability to have 12 photos and most agents don't even get the main photo up til the last minute...

Talk about really doing your client a disservice.
