Return Of Three Minute Real Estate, short videos presented, To promote a common understanding.

The idea is to promote real estate education one word at a time.

Real estate has it’s own jargon, it’s own colloquialisms, both industrially, locally, with-in the office and unique to the individual agents. Hopefully together we can promote a common understanding, one word at a time.

Today’s word: Fiduciary

Bill I have never understood why a Buyer would elect not to use a Realtor to represent them in a transaction.  To me it is a win win, and not to have a Realtor is foolish.  A big part of their lack of understanding probably because they do not fully understand what they get by going under contract with a Realtor, and the fiduciary that they get in return.  Realtors really need to do a better job in explaining it to both their clients and potential clients.

George,

There is one very good reason! Abusive Agency Contracts, witch I've written about before, most recently:  That's Our Policy / A Consumer's Guide To Buyer's Brokers/Agents

Ignorance, stupidity and greed by short sighted ill trained agents abusing clients and those so sowered by them they refuse to sign the buyer denying both the great benefits of Agency!

Agency-contracts will come up next week.

If I seem over sensitive it's because I've been practicing Buyer Brokering and fighting for it for 35 years as of Thanks Day next week.
