Brad, this was the first year in many that I wasn't able to go to the convention. There always is a lot of stuff to learn, do and see. Oh well, see you next year in Orlando!
I'm loving that bus! Seems like it really was a BIG deal!
Stop by sometime :)
Love and light,
Laura
Good evening Brad. Thanks for the update. I wasn't able to go but it does llok like the place to be for Realtors®. Maybe next year.
Hello Brad,
Thanks for your post. I wanted to go, but family, and location -I could not make it work this time.
Some of the other cool stuff I liked this year included:
Wiseagent.com - CRM and Transaction Mgmt
Kodak.com - The playtouch still rocks
DbaVideos.com - You take the camera home, shoot the video, send it back and they produce it
Cartavi.com/NARexpo11 - Document Management
DiverseSolutions.com - IDX solutions and Wordpress tools
Smartzip.com/targeting - Target marketing Listings and Buyers
Pixeet.com - Single Pod with wide-angle for iPhone
Showings.com - Centralized Showing Service
RealEstateToday.com - On the Air, online, and mobile
Relocate.org - Community Profiling Video Library
There was so much there this year, these are just a few of the ones that first come to mind.
Brad,
Nice overview but one of these days when I have enough staff to cover me I will be there. Of course I know if I go I will be on information overload. I have been to national trade shows before but not NAR's
Looks like fun, Brad! One of these days, I'm going to go. Thanks for the tips!
Great recap, Brad. Wish I had had time to get over to the expo but I was wrapped up in 4 long days of CRS meetings. Thanks for sharing some great information.
Jeff
Hee hee.... I recently in thinking... "if I die what will happen to my client list" transfered my steno book to my CRM. I choose one designed by my MLS provider (Navica) and while I'm keeping my Steno Book... if I die on Friday my assocciate broker will be able to pick and up run with all my clients. (although she may want to click delete on some of the needier ones) BTW- if you ever come back to ATL for an event.... you better let me know.
Tammy - I have a simple solution... JUST DON'T EVER DIE!!!!!
When I get back to ATL, you and I will be hooking up for coffee or lunch right? :-)
Thanks for the update Brad. My broker and manager attended, waiting to get their update as well.
It was a great show for all of us at Zillow. Thanks to the hundreds of Zillow Premier Agents who came by our booth to share their success stories with me. I had a great time.
Brad, good hanging out with you.
Brad, I missed this year but thanks for sharing the highlights in the expo.
Stacey - sorry we missed each other. Too bad you didn't win at least 1 or 2 of those iPads.
Win Home Inspection - I couldn't agree more.
Silvia - looking forward to seeing you next year then.
Laura - so good to hear from you. Hope to see you at one of these soon. I miss Carole being around and I'm glad you're still keeping her blog rolling in the rain! :-)
Randy - it's was a pretty well attended event this year. Maybe next year huh?
Tatyana - maybe next time, I toally understand.
One of the things that is so important is to continue to learn, and it can take shape in growing in the tech world, or learning how to prospect better. Glad you have a enlightening visit.
Larry - I think you'd have a blast, it is overwhelming, but there's no other event quite like it.
DeeDee - with so many friends from AR and around the country, you wouldn't regret it.
Jeff - 4 days of CRS meetings? And you survived? You're a better man than I my friend.
Gabe - I'm sure they'll have plenty to share, there's so much to see and so little time.
Spencer - it was an awesome time, thanks for hanging out with us. Can't wait to do it again next year!!
Frank - there was so much more I could have shared, but what I did share felt the most important.
Lorraine or Loretta - when we discontinue learning, we discontinue growing. :-)
Brad - Our Broker/Owner and Regional VP went and I'm sure we'll be getting lots of great information from them. Unfortunately until we figure out how to clone ourselves we'll just keep working!!!! Thanks for sharing and we're still working on the mobile web stuff.
Bill and Cyndi - have you ever seen Jurassic Park?
When you do start cloning yourselves, just don't use frogs to fill in the DNA gaps.
Life finds a way.... :-))
thanks for the take aways on the convention -- you learn something when attending that you can take away and help with your business
Ok Brad we'll keep the frogs out of the DNA mix. Reminds me of the 50's movie The Fly!! And yes, you're correct, life does find a way!!
Cyndi
