Don't get caught "Riding Dirty!"
This is a good reminder for all of us. It is said you are judged by the company you keep. Well, I'm adding that you can pretty well know somebody, based on the their attire and cleanliness too. America loves their cars, so keep it shined and you will shine in front of your customers.
Don't get caught "Riding Dirty!"
Soda cans, fast food bags, old newspapers, candy wrappers and sticky suckers have a place and it's called a garbage can, not the interior of your car. During our weekly Board Tour meeting an agent stood up and told everyone how he has gained other people's clients because their car was filthy and unkempt. I can believe it!
Take heed salespeople. You could lose your clients due to a poor first impression.
Some options to ensure a pristine vehicle:
- Avoid eating and drinking on the go
- Look at the interior from the clients view
- Get the seats deep cleaned every few months
- Take everything with you as you leave every time
- Pay someone to wash and detail once a week
- Buy a discount booklet from the local car wash business
If you take the time to dress appropriately for your clients, maintain the same high standards for your car and they will most definitely appreciate it. And that agent will have to find other ways to gain clients!
No "Riding Dirty!" here!
