I am a big fan of walking barefoot on our gorgeous beach. Today it was a wonderful sunny day with 76F and cooler water at 69F.
Sand is usually very clean. We very rarely see seaweeds, it is only after strong storms. However, the ocean was quite rough last week, and we got unusual amount of seaweed on our beach, and accompanying it poignant smell of iodine.

In Fort Lauderdale they have tractors every day removing any sea weed on our beaches - can't afford to lose any tourist dollars.
David - now, that I live in Florida, I cvan't imagine living not by the beach. Got spoiled (LOL)
Nicholas - it is very rare here, not like in Fort Lauderdale. I have seen tractors on Orchard Beach in the Bronx, removing all that rubbish left by people
Just gather it all up and have a seaweed salad or sandwich or something! It is supposed to be good for you!
Can you please get that all cleaned up for my arrival on Friday. Maybe you could join us on the beach too at some point :)
