Motivational Power Quote

Inspire Your Customers

“A teacher who is attempting to teach without inspiring the pupil

with a desire to learn is hammering in cold iron.”

Horace Mann, U.S. House of Representatives

As I see it . . . . . . .

Inspire your customers

Customers love to buy but hate to be sold.

Much like a teacher has to inspire the student in order for them to learn the real estate sales professional has to create an environment to inspire the customer in order to help them to buy.

Very few customers will respond favorably to high pressure sales tactics. In most cases high pressure will not only cost you lose the sale. It cuts off all possibilities of any future referrals from the customer and in extreme cases it will negatively affect your reputation.

Inspiring your customers to buy is a soft and effective selling skill.

The sales professional that encourages their customers to get involved in the sales progress experiences a far greater level of success them the professional that is attempting to hard sell their way through the sales process.

With high pressure sales tactics the sales person is attempting to push the customer through the sales process.

Inspiring your customers to buy is selling; it just is a difference way of looking at the sales process.

The difference is a thin slice but makes a big difference.

The sales professional who encourages the customers to get involved in the sales process gets the customers to makes decisions throughout the sales process. By being involved and making small decisions the customer takes ownerships of the process.

By making the small decisions the customer is also removing objections and making the compromises in order for them to buy the home.

In a sense the customers are closing themselves on the sale.

The thin slice of difference in inspiring your customers is the sales professional and the customers are collaborating on the sale and the customers take ownership of the sales process and the property.

I've never been a high pressure sales person.  I prefer to build relationships and let the customers sell themselves on the home.  Great post for a Monday morning!

Lou,

We tend to remember those teachers from our past that inspired us. The others tend to be forgotten.

It has been said that a poor teaher describes, a good teacher explains, an excellent teacher demonstrates and a great teacher inspires! Enjoy your day!
