Photographs of a home that will help it sell quickly. Or not

What do you think? Do these pictures actually help sell the house? Or should they have been left out of the listing details?

Door into bathroom

Agents, if your listing photographs don't turn out as well as they should, do you upload them anyway, or do you leave them out and go back later to take better ones?

Random door in a bathroom

Dangly thing on a window, looking through the screen to a patio

It may not be worth your time to return to take better pictures if the house sells right away. This one hasn't.

P.S. ^ Why?!

Good stuff Robin.  I think the toilet picture will be the thing that seals the deal.  :)

Hi Robin,  Preaching to the choir here !  Upgraded to a real camera and wide angle lens with strobe.  The difference is amazing.

Maybe they were intending to show the home had new doors and toilet. I say delete the photos and start over.

A pet peeve of mine is the toilet picture.  Doesn't anyone put the lid down?  I underwrote mortgages for 5 years and every single day, toilet pics in the appraisals.

People- put the lids down before you take the photo and before you have your home appraised.

Yeah, the door photos. That's always a special feature to be played up--the fact that the bathrooms have doors! Thanks for the comments!
