I've been receiving evites from family and friends for a couple years now. They are handy if all your guests are regular computer e-mail users. Keep in mind, there are still those who never use e-mail. Don't leave them out.

I love evites -- I had a client who moved into her condo and sent out evites to everyone she knew to come and help paint her condo before she moved in.  She supplied the paint, pizza and beer -- everyone had a great time and her condo looked great!

I have been receiving evites from friends and neighbors for about a year now. I love the way it gives you the opportunity to reply with yes, no or maybe. You can even explain why.  Being able to do it online allows you to respond any time of the day and is helpful when you sometimes get too busy to pick up the phone.
