Extreme Fire Danger -- Scenes From The Aftermath Of The Last Wildfire in Magnolia, Texas

This is in Remington Forest where the fences melted from the heat of the fire.

This house was totally destroyed.  It looks like the fire pit, a car hood and a clay pot survived.  I can't tell if that is a refrigerator near the front or maybe some sort of rectangular metal box.  Everything else is just rubble and bricks.

This house used to be for sale by my real estate company, but the damage was severe enough for the owner to have the tarp put over the house and the windows boarded up. 

This house in Remington Forest has the brick standing and nothing else.  Very sad.  Most of these houses caught fire from the trees behind them on FM 1488.

Here is a brand new fence in Remington Forest.  I love the top part with the X's.  A fireman told me that some of the houses were burning because the fences were catching on fire and then starting the houses on fire. 

Here are some of the burnt trees in between the two entrances of Remington Forest.  Trees of all sizes burnt, including very small trees.  It is good to know that the grass is coming back already. 

Here is the house I am selling.  It survived the wildfire with minimal or no damage that I can see.  Who do you know who would like a real brick home for under $100,000?
