I am Thankful for my baby sister Lurana - and need your prayers please!


My baby sister Lurana and I have been best of friends all our lives. I'm nine years older than her and there are 3 brothers between her and I.  I was so happy that my parents brought home a baby girl!!  For years I dragged her around with me everywhere....and still do whenever possible. She so darn fun!  We laugh uncontrollably at times and it's infectious to whoever is around us!.  Getting the picture?  Double trouble here..... 

Lurana is having surgery tomorrow in Toronto at about 10:00 her time.  Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers and hold the vision for a miraculous recovery and healing time.  She found what is like almost 2 pounds of butter in her abdomen and thankfully they'll be removing it tomorrow so she'll be back to normal by the new year. They expect her to be just fine but lots of prayers is a good thing. She's going to have a bit of a recovery time but with your prayers it will go easier and smoother for her.  Blessings to you all!

Hey thanks everyone - she's out of surgery and I just heard she's got a 'luxury suite' looking out over Toronto's sunset!  Even when she feels pretty crappy she's making the best of it.  Of mabye it's the drugs. Doctor said it went very well.  Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!!!!

Anna,  Laura looks like a great and fun gal.  I can just see the two of you causing all kinds of trouble.  My sister and I laugh for hours about silly things when we are together.  We did leave our mark growing up.  Nothing is better than a sister to keep you grounded.  Hope everything went well with the surgery.
