Motivational Power Quote

Time is the Wealth Given at Birth

“When you play it too safe,

you’re taking the biggest risk of your life . . . .

Time is the only wealth we’re given.”

Barbara Sher, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Time is the wealth given at birth

When you were born you were given the wealth of time. What you do with that time is your choice.

Value your time as a precious resource one that can only be used once and once it expended it is gone forever never to be used again.

Focus on investing your time and not using it. You can invest your time wisely in productive pursuits that will pay you a dividend through out your life or the time can be wasted returning very little value or no value. What you decide to do is a choice and that choice is yours.

Your time is the wealth given at birth; manage your wealth of time as a precious resource and your resource of time will be return to you as wealth over a life time.

Uggh! I'm just the opposite. I was thinking about going to bed, because there wasn't enough hours in the day YESTERDAY...so I stayed up till 4:00 this morning. Now I'm thinkin I should put in a couple more hours.

I'm one of those workaholic types that needs to devote a little more time to the fun things in life. Thanks for reminding me! I'm productive in work, but too much fun is passing me by. Gonna re-adjust my schedule. Nice post, thought provoking!

Lou,  I really like what you said about focusing on investing our time rather than using it.  That is very good advice - definitely worthly of contemplating and putting into practice.  I could do a better job of making the most of my time (or as you would say - investing it).

We are all given twenty four hours in the day. How we use it is important. Once it passes we cannot get it back! Enjoy your day!! Keep them coming!

Lou,

I think about this often. I have the same amount of time every day that Bill Gates has, he's just using his more effectively I guess.

  • Some believe they can save it
  • Some just waste it
