Come one, come all for the 61st Annual Mardi Gras Parade in Lansdale, PA!

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2011 @ 1:00 PM

The 61st annual Mardi Gras Parade will be held in downtown Lansdale on Saturday, November 19th. The parade starts at Main Street and Mitchell Avenue at 1:00 PM and travels east on Main Street to Park Drive. The parade ends at Memorial Park.

"Holiday Sing-A-Long" is the theme of this year's parade.

There will be lots of candy for the kids, local marching bands, floats, fire trucks and old fashioned cars. The end of the parade is always Santa on a large sleigh.

A 61 year tradition in Lansdale - this parade has been beloved by area families for generations!

The weather is supposed to be beautiful! I will be there (my son is proudly marching with the North Penn's 9th Grade Band) and I will share the photos with you next week!

Thanks Everyone! It should be a fun day. Ron, yes Mardi Gras is before Lent. I really don't know why they call it that. But who am I to question a 61 year tradition? I have only lived here 14 years. :)
