Now, you would think that since this post is for November 13, a Sunday, that this post will be all about my beloved Broncos (who actually played well this weekend!) or my old time favorites, the Vikings (who blew Monday night football this week). But, NO! This is a thankful post for all game-type things that bring a smile to my face.
I am thankful for Scrabble. I love word games, and this last weekend I won three Scrabble games against my parents, awwwww yeah! I was not so lucky with Trivial Pursuit, but still had a blast playing the new version which allows you to bet on your opponents’ ability to answer the questions correctly. So much fun!
I am thankful for the laughter and humor which ensued while trying to teach my parents how to play You Don’t know Jack on the Wii. OMG, hilarious is all I can say.
And of course I am thankful for sitting around watching football with my family last weekend.
Game Day can be any kind of games, as long as it involves smiles, laughter, and fun.
