17 Comments on Clackamette Park, answer to Where is it Wednesday...somewhere in Oregon City 11/16/11
I know! I Know! However, I won't spill the beans. Thanks for this super fun weekly feature Cindy - I look forward to it. :)
I really like your approach Cindy! It is a great way to interact with the public. Great idea!
I agree, this is a great post that will keep your readers entertained and more informed about the beautiful places in your area. Keep it up!
Hi Cindy,
I know where it is too! I'm going to post WIIW on facebook and see if we get a few more players.
Hi Debb, I used to play that game when I was a kid.."Don't Spill the Beans". I ran out this morning and took some pictures...so not the best weather to be out and about. Maybe it's sunny by you!!
Hi Lisa, thank you! I've been having fun with it and have also learned quite a bit more myself!
Hi Nestor and Katerina, thank you, Portland is a gorgeous place to live...although I would have enjoyed some sunshine this morning while taking these pictures! Hey, in Portland, nothing stops for the rain.
Hi John, thanks!! You are a great detective..so bet you knew this one easily :) I feel good getting back to it today after missing last weeks WIIW!
Hi Cindy,
I'm glad you got back to it too! I look forward to WIIW every week and seeing more and more players each week.
Hey, so we have at least two people who know where it is but won't say! :-) You guys should go for it...
OK, so here is my guess. I say Clackamette Park in Oregon City. And here's why I say that. Using one of those nifty satellite mapping apps on my iPad, I followed the water until I came to a part in the river that looked similar to the picture above, and there are bridges there where 99E goes over the water. And there's nothing interesting there except a park!
So there you have it! My guess.
Kat,
I'll give you a hint. ;-) If you unscramble these letters, you will have the name: NBORAT
Hi Cindy,
You should also implement a Realtor penalty clause..... if a realtor spills the beans they have to come and bring a bag of food for the foodbank...
Love your contest, hav eno clue where it is, but the concept is pfanntastic, like the agent that came up with it.....;)
Hi Kat, you're detective work paid off once again! You're very correct and it is The bridge for lack of a better name called the Clackamas 99E Bridge taken at Clackamette park. Now Debb probably is keeping quiet figuring she has the hometown advantage living right across the river..and we know John is trying to get more folks over to play (thanks John) so doesn't want to spill the beans..so heck..go for it!
Hi John, oh good. I didn't do my daily word jumble today (always a good meter on how good my brain is funtioning at the moment)...so let's see..NORTBA, BROTAN, TRABON, Oh..heck...I need coffee!!!
Hi Peter and Linda, Oh..now I like the way you think! Now off to update and give the answer before it gets way too late!!
Once you get out of you're routine, it takes extra effort to get back on. But everyone loves this weekly feature, so keep it up. We have exactly the same weather here in NY today - freezing!
Hi Jill, Oh, you are soooo right. My plan was to take some pics on Tuesday afternoon when it was fairly sunny....but life got in the way and there I was out Wednesday morning taking these pictures. I didn't like the feeling of missing even one...so off I went..downpour and all. We've had us some nasty weather and I am such a wimp now...that 48 is BRRR COLD.
