10 Comments on A LinkedIn Tip Sure To Wow
Good morning Dan and Amy. I am on LinkedIn and this is a good idea. People love to be affirmed and invariably I have found that helping others often helps me as well.
LinkedIn one of the many sites to weed, feed, cross promote with your OTHER marketing from video, social media and niche websites / blogs too. Just signing up is not going to make the SEO bell ring.
Dan, it is always nice to get recommendations from others, nothing is better than a testimonial from someone else.
Good idea. I've been a member of Linkedin since I first heard about it, but I haven't really profited from it. I just keep slowly building links. I'll try this and see what happens.
OMG, this is such a great tip. I was thinking abt this in today's BNI mtg when someone mentioned they gave someone a reco. I have to get back to this. I think I may have 14 or so, but I haven't done one for over a year. thx. Suggested.
Sheila - Glad to hear you are also on LI and it is working for you.
Andrew - Sure, you've got to work it.
Rita - Testimonials are very powerful, and giving one to someone else is appreciated.
Coldwell - Let me know how it goes.
Debbie - I bet if you recommend some of your BNI members that will go a long way.
Hi Dan and Amy, Glad you brought up this idea. I have seen that Recommendation button, and have only recommended a couple of people who asked for it, but I can see some benefits of doing more of it. I need to spend some more time on Linkedin soon.
Hi Dan and Amy - thanks for the tips regarding linkedin. Testimonials are strong & referrals are appreciated. Social media is exploding our industry - so much to keep up with!
Hi Dan/Amy, I like your idea of showing appreciation without being asked. I've been on Linkedin for a while and have benefited from the connections - your tip would help strengthen my relationships. Thanks for sharing.
Jerry - We only have so much time for FB, Twitter, LI....not enough hours in the day.
Carla - There is a lot to keep up with. I guess doing a good job on a few things is better than spreading ourselves too thin.
Ellie - You are very welcome. Hope all is well.
