How to Effectively Use Real Estate Video Marketing To Capture More Leads

Services for Real Estate Pros

If you check out any real estate website, you see a dominance of home photos that capture the best features of a home (and sometimes not ;). However, some real estate experts are turning to media marketing in order to better capture the feel of a home and I think they’re on to something!

The reason why many realtors are turning to online video marketing is that they can use the power of the search engines to gain more leads for their featured homes. It has been proven that strategic search engine optimization tactics in conjunction with online real estate video marketing works!

Online video marketing is quickly becoming one of the most effective ways to showcase homes and help to market your real estate business. Take a look at YouTube.com and how popular this online media source has become! People are seeking not only entertainment, but they want an easy way to learn about things that takes less effort on their part. Watching a video online can do this. YouTube has grown tremendously over the years and your market is passionately turning to videos as a way to gain knowledge and seek information from an expert like you!

If you create videos based upon what your market is searching for, you can not only improve your exposure, but you'll also be able to gain more leads over your competition, as well as become a well respected authority in your marketplace. It doesn't get any better than this!

Here are some tips for good video marketing:

1. Use quality photos - Poor quality photos can hurt your sales by limiting the amount of leads you're getting on a home, so take the time and effort to ensure you're using clean, crisp and vibrant color photo images. After all, you want your prospect to be able to imagine themselves in their future dream home.

2. You don't have to spend a ton of money on a quality camera. If you choose the DIY route, there are plenty of inexpensive cameras on the market under $100 that take quality photos and  video footage - Fuji, Sony, Kodak and Canon have inexpensive pocket-sized cameras that are compact to use, but still create quality images.

3. Stay away from shaky video footage as this will kill your image and your sales. If you lack the expertise, why not hire a professional real estate video tour production company. They would be happy to assist you.

4. Always list your contact information in your videos so that your prospects can easily get in contact with you. A strong call-to-action like this has made many sales happen in the past... why not do the same.

If you’re looking for a way to gain more of a presence in your local area, local real estate online video marketing is one of the best ways to do it!

Feel free to ask me any questions you may have about using video marketing in your business! Always happy to help! Check out a sample of my work. You can use video to feature homes you have on the market, or to market your business. Video is so versatile that way. It’s a great way to share your expert knowledge with your market!
