I know that people need to shop. The economy needs to recover. But…..
When stores open on these holidays or even in the middle on the night on Black Friday it is the workers who suffer…. They can’t spend the day with their loved ones. They have to take a special day and prepare for work. These are usually the desperate workers… The holiday workers… People who have to take temporary work because they don’t have regular work. These workers are the ones who can’t tell their boss the day is important to them. They just have to accept the hours…
Why do we need to shop on these days? I really don’t know. There seems to be plenty of shopping opportunity on Black Friday and other days….I even try to make sure I have all my food so I don’t go to the food store.
Stores offer very good deals for shopping in the middle of the night…. Is the deal worth a night’s sleep? A worker’s anguish? Some workers are lucky and get time and half…I never did when I was temporary help at Macy’s.
I don’t think politics matter or even your religious views. The holidays are sacred because they allow families to spend time together. It is neither left or right. It is neither religious or atheist. It is neither Tea Party nor Occupy. It is America. It is true family values. Families growing stronger….
So support real FAMILY values and support our UNDERCLASS and support our COUNTRY by not shopping when stores shouldn’t be open.
