HOLIDAY WALK IS THIS SATURDAY!
NOVEMBER 19th

Join the fun! Welcome Santa and the beginning of holiday shopping and dining season to downtown Kirkwood this Saturday morning. Enjoy the festivities at the train station, then begin checking off items on your shopping list by visiting downtown Kirkwood specialty stores.

 

Santa will arrive by train at 9:30 a.m. and then

pose for photos with his admirers until 3 p.m.

 

Santa will be greeted by the choir from St. Peter's School.

 

Businesses participating in the Holiday Walk will open at 10 a.m. They will display their holiday wreaths as a signal that they will offer refreshments or some other attraction to customers.

 

Mrs. Claus will read stories to the children at the train station and children can write letters to Santa

from 10-2.

 

The Holiday Trolley will tour downtown Kirkwood from 11-3.

 

Performers from Lucille Rapp and Statesmen Singers will entertain shoppers at 1pm.


Cookies and Hot Cocoa will be served by Youth in Action. Donations of food and baby items for Nurses for Newborns will be accepted at the train station

 

Kirkwood Kiwanis will offer free hot dogs (donated by Mike Duffy's Pub & Grill)  while they last.

Summit Produce at Kirkwood Farmers' Market: Dan will be cooking up  and sampling local beef and summer sausages and smoked pork. Thompson Farms is sampling local soup mixes and local dip mixes ( Missouri Best). They will also be offering samples of Pies and local Gooey Butter cakes.

Local pickled products from Ozark Pickle Pantry (Missouri Best) and more!
