When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the Earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you will have been and there you will always long to return.”

Leonardo Da Vinci

Every pilot understands the depth of this statement. Time not spent in flight is easily found returning to thoughts and plans of future flights. Nothing has changed since the 15th century when these oft quoted words were first penned.

What a neat post and a great niche!! I didn't realize California had so many Airport Airpark communities. I'll never forget driving through Cameron for the first time on my way to Placerville. Those short little stop signs are so cute!

Cynthia,

One of our airpark clients use to live in Cameron Park. He bought and sold aircraft and taxied a small jet down the street to his hangar home. There was no way to keep it quiet.

Btw: my wife was born in Santa Rosa and we raised our 4 sons in Healdsburg. Wishing you continued great success in Sonoma County.

Thank you for your comments,

Steve

Steve, beautifully expressed and a great way to bring attention to the airpark communities you serve.  The fascination with flying probably has always been with mankind and we are lucky to live in a time when flying is a reality.

Silvia,

You are so right; The ease of access to flight continues to be developed by the "Da Vinci's" of our day.

Thank you for your comments. Wishing you a great weekend,

Steve

Steve,

You remind me that ski time is arriving.  Colorado already has opened some of their slopes.

When my father was a professor he organized a whole exhibit on Leonardo da Vinci.  What an amazing, creative and innovative spirit the man had.  If you ever find yourself in Milan, Italy, they have an exceptional museum dedicate to Leonardo.  It is off the beaten path, but well worth the excursion. Alexandra,

I've been discussing the transition to snowboard with an instructor friend.

Leslee and I have been planning a to-be-scheduled trip to Italy. Thanks for the suggestion.
