15 Comments on Animals Can Act Just Like Kids Sometimes!
Hi Kristine, I loved the way you brought us into this terrific story. In my estimation, these are some our best blogs. Because they bring to life the mulititude of life that exists all around us that most never see. And you captured it and brought it to life. Wonderfully done!
PS, Myrl Jeffcoat once said to me that our cameras force us to see and interact in life. I think it was such a profound statement and your anaology and capture really does that in spades.
Kristin, I so agree with William. He makes a very good point. I feel like I was there with you for this very special interaction. The Artist is always interacting with the field (subject). I very much enjoyed this lovely photographic series that tells such a good story. You are the Artist! Thank you!
Beautiful photos Kristin. I love all animals.. but birds have such an elegance about them.
Tobbie Marble wishes you a good night. Meow....
Hi William,
What a profound and nice thing to say. I had just stopped to take the barn picture and came upon this bickering with the oranges. Funny thing, there was plenty of little oranges but they had to fight over this particular one. I had never thought of birds doing this kind of horse play before. I enjoyed it.
I agree with Myrl's statements as we are just the conduit between life and the paper. She always has such wonderful blogs too. Have a nice weekend.
Hi Jeanean,
Such a nice thing to say. I love nature and taking pictures is a real joy. I loved watching these crows fight like little kids so I was quite sure it would tell a nice story. I never thought about birds playing like our domesticated pets do. But they definitely do. Thanks for stopping.
Hi Patty, Tobbi Marble is so beautiful. How are your other two cats? Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping.
Hi Kristin -
This would make a great video / slide show and Google would love it! Great pic that indeed tell the tale. FYI>> I have not been seeing your post. Just figured it out I had not subscribed or added you as an associate Both issues are now taken care of and hope you return the favor. Look forward to seeing you in the Rain.
Best regards from the Q

Hi Patty,
Glad to hear from you and glad your babies are doing well. Mine are all sleeping as it is a cool and foggy day and it just zaps their strength. Plus Edison turned off our (part of the city) power from 10 pm to 6 am to upgrade the system as they are in the midst of replacing every ones electric meters with digital meters so they can do away with meter readers. The dogs got scared when the power went off. They do not like changes.
I am surprised he could lift it without dropping it. Great pictures!
Hi Debra,
I know it is amazing that he could carry it in his mouth but some of the crows have beaks that are huge so they must have some strong jaw muscles? And he flew off up in the sky with the orange and poof.....gone. I missed that picture as he was just too quick.
