The best real estate website about Portland that I have seen is MetroMarketNews.com. There are many sites that allow you to search for properties or that provide information about the Portland area but MetroMarketNews is the first site that I have seen that offers consistent, cogent and compelling stats and trends about both micro and macro issues that affect the local market in addition to providing overviews of the buying process and selling process plus a mapping system and advanced search tool that is fully integrated with IDX so that the viewer can see what licensed realtors can see in real time!

Another reason why MetroMarketNews is the best real estate website about Portland is that it has an extensive Marketplace that has nearly everything that a buyer or seller needs…all in one place. For example, you can shop for a lender, cancel and/or set up your Comcast/PGE/NW Natural Gas account and research school districts and student test scores all on the same page!

In the resource section of the site, buyers and sellers can learn about the entire sales process from their point of view and they can track their progress throughout the cycle right from this page!

There is also an excellent video about Oregon in the Discover Portland section of the site that is essentially an extensive montage that takes the viewer on a trip around the state.
